The Fortune Entrepreneur Programme is a groundbreaking initiative of the Nigerian Capital Development Fund (NCDF), launched in collaboration with the Federal and State Governments to unlock the potential of Nigeria’s emerging entrepreneurs through dynamic regional accelerators, innovation-driven summits, and strategic venture capital investments.

Now Regionalised by Nigeria’s Six Geo-Political Zones

This programme will now be delivered across Nigeria’s six geo-political zones, with one accelerator and summit per zone — tailored to the unique entrepreneurial landscape of each region. The first edition launches in:

1st Edition
Benin City, Edo State – September 2025

The South-South edition kicks off this national movement. Future editions in other zones will follow, ensuring every region benefits from deep capacity building, regional innovation showcases, and venture capital mobilisation.

Venture Capital Investment

Selected startups will receive equity capital from the NCDF Opportunity Growth Fund – one of Nigeria’s most ambitious impact-driven VC funds.

  • Up to ₦500 million in equity per startup
  • Priority sectors: Agritech, Fintech, Energy, Creative Industries, HealthTech, Manufacturing & ClimateTech
  • Ongoing post-investment scale-up support
