Business Development Executive, Public Sector

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive with a proven track record in the public sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the public sector landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
* Conduct in-depth research on the public sector market, identifying potential clients, and understanding market trends.
* Analyse competitor activity within the public sector to stay ahead of industry developments.
Business Identification and Qualification: * Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the public sector through networking, cold calling, and strategic partnerships.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align business strategies with organisational goals.
Relationship Building:
* Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within the public sector.
* Leverage existing contacts and develop new relationships to enhance the company's presence in the sector. Proposal Development:
* Work closely with the proposal team to develop compelling and competitive proposals for public sector clients.
* Ensure all proposals meet the unique requirements and regulations of the public sector.
Revenue Generation:
* Meet and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth within the public sector.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise market penetration and customer acquisition.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven experience in business development within the public sector.
* Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and regulations.
