Quality Assurance Specialist - Healthcare

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our healthcare team at LifeCome. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of healthcare services provided by our organization. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies. Conduct regular audits of healthcare processes, documentation, and service delivery to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and rectify quality-related issues.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyze data related to healthcare quality indicators. Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, trends, and areas for improvement. Work closely with management to develop action plans based on data-driven insights.
Training and Education:
Develop and deliver training programs to healthcare staff on quality assurance principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Ensure that staff members are informed and educated on changes in quality standards and guidelines.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and work collaboratively with teams to implement changes. Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjust strategies as needed.
Risk Management:
Assist in the development and maintenance of risk management strategies to minimize potential issues and ensure patient safety. Investigate and address incidents or deviations from quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control; within a healthcare setting is an advantage
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Knowledge of data analysis tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Certification in quality management or related field is a plus.
