Experience

Prof. Akinde is a distinguished academic and institutional leader with expertise in environmental sustainability, applied microbiology, and biotechnology. He serves as Professor at Osun State University and Director of the Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory, where he has led major research and institutional development initiatives.

He has extensive governance experience through service on University Senate, Governing Council, and statutory committees, providing strong grounding in governance systems, policy oversight, and institutional accountability.
